1923 T PICKUP HOT RODOLD SCHOOL LOOKGOOD BLACK CHERRY PAINTBOMBER SEATS327 ENGINE...350 TRANSMISSIONWIDE WHITE WALLS ON SMOOTHIE WHEELS VIN SW110994P4 Mileage: 954 SINCE IT WAS BUILTTITLE:: Car has a South Carolina title. It is titled as a 1923 street rod, reconstructed car. That means it was constructed from parts. It is a hard title with a VIN that matches the VIN plate on the car. HISTORY: I cant tell you a lot other than what I was told. The car was built in Pennsylvania and the state issued the VIN number and plate. The first owner put 485 miles on the car and then sold it and a dealer in Chattanooga, Tennessee ended up with the car. The car was painted flat Hot Rod black, he did not like it so he painted it black cherry. From the first owner not many miles were put on the car, it now reads 954. Some of this can be documented on the title and other is what I was told. WARNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WARNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cars like this can be very dangerous, they are fast. Extra large people will have a hard time fitting in it. Im average at 510" and 185 lbs it fits me good. If you are awkward it might be a problem climbing in and working the gas and brake pedals. This car is as good and probably better than most, but they are not made for comfort and safety. They are made to look cool, comfort and safety was not a consideration on building this type of care. I DO NOT SHOW CARS ON SUNDAY AND I MAY BE HARD TO GET ON THE TELEPHONE: I go to Church on Sunday, I spend time with my family, Im getting old (almost 66), I need some rest. I love these old cars, but they are not my life!!!!!!!!!!!! Please call and I will be happy to show cars 6 days a week. IS THERE ANY RUST PROBLEMS? Fiber glass body, so it has no rust. The frame and other members are rock solid. IS THERE ANY ACCIDENT DAMAGE? None that I can find. WHY AM I SELLING THIS CAR? Im a 66 year old retired mechanic/classic car restorer/auto mechanics intructor, when I find a car I like, can sell for a fair market price and make a few bucks, I buy it fix a few things and resell. PAINT: The color is black cherry, it is base coat/clear coat paint and it has a nice shine. No dents, no dings and the paint is slick, if I get low and look up I can see a little orange peel down low, put its not bad at all. The paint would be considered good. CHROME AND BRIGHTWORK: Not a lot of chrome, but what there is looks real good. The only real thing I can see thats not extra good is the chrome headers, they are blued a little and have a few pits, the pictures should show what Im talking about. INTEROR: The interior is cool, it has metal door and side panels, the seats are bomber style and the floor mostly diamond plate rubber. I do have one cushion for the drivers seat bottom. GLASS: Windshield is clear, no side glass. ENGINE: The engine is a strong running Chevrolet 327, the engine casting code is 3932386, it starts good, it runs good, it has no rattles, it has no knocks, no blue smoke, its a good engine that is clean. The radiator is made by Walker, this is very good quality and very expensive. The toggle switches on the dash are mostly for looks, The one to the left is for the electric fuel pump and the other 2 are dummies. If you look real close you can see a small black box mounted under the dash. This is the fuse box with mini fuses. EXHAUST SYSTEM: Chrome header with side pipes, it has some muffler style baffles in the side pipes, it has a good sound. TRANSMISSION: Its a 3 speed automatic that shifts good. Its a Turbo 350. REAR-END: No whines or growls, its a Ford 9 inch with highway gears. BRAKES: Good brakes, they are not power, but stop good, they are disc in front and drums in the rear. The brake pedal and gas are close together because there is not room for your feet. STEERING: The steering box is by Flaming River, the car drives good for what it is, but its not impressive after driving a modern car. SUSPENSON: The rear is coil over springs, the front is lefts and a straight axle with what looks to me to be at least a 2 inch drop. WHEELS AND TIRES: Cool Old School wheels and tires,
